The WILD. Trip to Connemara

This was our first trip beyond Meath and was made possible by the generosity of Catherine Rothwell (Otto’s Hurley’s Mum in Upper VI) and David Wilkinson. The pictures of snow-capped peaks, and children hiking, climbing, running and even swimming will tell the story better than I can but I think it’s appropriate to add that the children who participated did so with huge enthusiasm. Explore Meath Club

  On 22nd October the “Explore Meath Club” made its inaugural outing to Girley Bog at Drewstown. Despite a poor forecast, the sun shone almost the whole afternoon and the showers that did fall felt quite pleasant.
