Headfort School Selected to Participate in the RDS Primary Science Fair

Headfort School is one of the eight schools from Co. Meath selected to participate in the RDS Primary Science Fair. Primary school students representing 120 schools from across the island of Ireland will display their class projects in the RDS from 10-12 January 2103.

Headfort’s project is titled ‘What is Force?’ and the 6th Form pupils have been working very hard exploring the force of gravity and the implications on how we live.

Headfort School has a dedicated Science Laboratory and all forms are taught chemistry, physics and biology from the age of 7 by Headfort’s Science Master, Michael Bolton.

Another excellent example of how Headfort offers academic subject teaching where the children are taught by subject specialists rather than class teachers.
